To lead and manage the gold loan business operations within the assigned region. The Regional Business Manager (RBM) will be responsible for achieving business targets, driving sales, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining compliance, and developing a high-performing team to expand the bank’s gold loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Strategy: Drive gold loan business growth, achieve disbursement/profitability targets, expand market share, build partnerships, and monitor competition.
- Sales Management: Track branch performance, guide teams, organize sales/marketing campaigns, and manage key client accounts.
- Operations & Compliance: Ensure gold loan processes, vault/documentation, audits, gold quality checks, and customer satisfaction as per policies/regulations.
- Team Management: Lead & mentor Area/Branch Managers, conduct training, drive performance culture, and recruit top talent.
- Risk & Compliance: Control NPAs, monitor portfolio quality, ensure 100% RBI/KYC adherence, and coordinate on recovery/litigation.

Qualifications
- Graduate (Commerce/Finance/Management); MBA/PGDM preferred
- 8–12 yrs in retail lending; 3–5 yrs in gold loans & regional leadership
- Proven multi-branch/team management

- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, core banking systems
