BFSI Analyst

Purpose of the job: The position is responsible for generating quality investment ideas and tracking portfolio companies in BFSI space
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in management meetings, discussions with industry experts, and competitive benchmarking exercises.
- Conduct fundamental research on companies to identify attractive investment opportunities.
- Track industry trends, regulatory changes, and market movements affecting relevant sectors.
- Prepare detailed investment notes, financial models, and analytical reports to support investment decisions.
- Analyze company positioning, business growth potential, financial health, and associated risks to form buy/sell recommendations.
- Identify companies with strong re-rating potential and long-term value creation prospects.
- Monitor quarterly earnings releases, management commentaries, and key industry developments.
- Communicate investment ideas, analysis, and insights effectively to internal stakeholders and investors.
Key Requirements:
- 8–10 years of total relevant work experience.
- MBA from a Tier-1 institution or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Minimum 3–5 years with a leading sell-side institutional desk (not retail) or a reputed buy-side firm.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
